Suzzette believes the Bible is the inerrant Word of God; that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, that he was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, was crucified and died for the forgiveness of our sins, that he rose from death, and that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ~ Matthew 22:37-39

Suzzette’s concerts are multifaceted. You can expect some laughter and perhaps a few tears. The majority of the program will be singing. This is mostly songs from Suzzette’s albums, although she will often include other popular music that your congregation may be familiar with. She will also share her testimony about how God has worked throughout her life. Depending on the length and nature of the service, she may complement a song by revealing one of her oil paintings to provide a visual portrayal of God’s love.
Ultimately Suzzette follows the guidance of the Holy Spirit, so each concert is unique. We are happy to adjust the standard concert format to meet the requirements of your service.
-
Suzzette normally performs with the recorded tracks from her albums and other music that she may include. This allows her to make appearances with no financial guarantee. If your event requires live musicians this can certainly be arranged.
-
Above all Suzzette's work is her ministry and her desire is to move people closer to God. As such there is no financial requirement for her concerts. If it does not interfere with the worship experience a love offering is appreciated to help offset expenses and we request to set up her merchandise table, but this is not a requirement.
-
Absolutely! Please do not let the size of your congregation be a deterrent. The size of the church and expected attendance are not a consideration. Some of Suzzette's most moving concerts have been to smaller congregations.
-
A standard Suzzette Michaels concert is approximately one hour in length. This can be adjusted as necessary to fit your service requirements.
-
Suzzette travels with her own sound system that can accommodate congregations of up to 250 or so members as well as outdoor events. She will also have a sound technician with her. For larger rooms we will coordinate with your audiovisual team to make use of your church's sound system.

In the early days of Suzzette's career she performed secular country music and was recording for Warner Brothers Records. Another artist popular at the time was Suzy Boggus. Because of the similar names and very similar appearance, her record label requested a name change to avoid market confusion. Suzzette's husband, Michael (Mike), is very active in her career so Suzzette chose to combine their names.

Suzzette is originally from Talladega, Alabama, but for the past thirty years has lived just outside of Nashville in the small, scenic town of Springfield, Tennessee, with her husband Mike and dog Gracie. Suzzette and Mike have one daughter, Katrina, who also lives in the Nashville area and works in the music business. Suzzette attends Springfield First United Methodist Church where she is active in the praise band when she is not on the road with her own ministry.
